Aldrich Conference 2012: Call for abstracts PDF Print E-mail

The Graduate Students’ Union of Memorial University cordially invites you to submit a conference presentation at this year’s National Aldrich Interdisciplinary Conference.

For the past fourteen years this conference has provided Memorial’s graduate students with an opportunity to acquire valuable public speaking skills in a collegial environment.  For the second year in a row, we’d like to extend the same courtesy to our colleagues across Canada!

The conference will take place from March 2nd – 4th, 2012 and will feature academic presentations, professional development workshops, and a host of social activities.

Abstracts should be approximately 250 words in length, and should be in response to one of the three themes: Responding to Occupy Wall Street, The Possibilities of Pedagogy, and Testing the Boundaries of Methods & Methodology.  Please indicate your name, faculty, home university, and contact information somewhere on your abstract.  Submit abstracts to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This year's conference aims to be truly interdisciplinary, featuring themes with prizes, professional development workshops, organized socials, and guest speakers - all paid for by your Graduate Student Union fees and a number of university sponsors!
