Your Collective Agreement
Some of you may be working with a professor this year as either a teacher's aid, or a research assistant. If this is the case, we strongly believe that you should be aware of your rights as student employees of Memorial University.
As a part of TAUMUN's collective agreement, member's education is really important for understanding their rights and benefits as well as their responsibilities as a TA/GA/RA. Member's education is also important to understand the Collective Agreement and its importance.
To make the members understand their rights properly, TAUMUN is going to organize a Lecture Series. The first lecture of the series has been scheduled on August 17, 2012 at the UC Landing at 4.00 PM. We will have a presentation by our TAUMUN executives explaining the various clauses to clarify the collective agreement. We will take your valuable suggestions which will help us during next bargaining. Also see the poster for details.
